Resurfacing and skin quality

CO2 laser in Valencia

CO2 laser works on the skin surface and skin remodelling. I use it for texture, wrinkles and scars, alone or alongside other procedures. The device matters, as do the indication and how treatment is tailored.

Assessment and treatment

One device, different plans

I assess skin phototype, medical history, sun exposure and the treatment area. Eyelid, cheek and neck skin require different decisions; I do not use a single setting for the entire face.

01

What we want to improve

I distinguish texture and wrinkles from scars, pigmentation or lesions needing a different diagnosis. Before treating a lesion for its appearance, we need to know what it is.

02

Depth, density and extent

I tailor energy, treatment density and passes to each area and goal. More intensive treatment is not automatically better: it also changes recovery and risk.

03

Combining with surgery

I combine it with blepharoplasty and double-chin treatment to address the skin as well. It can be combined with fat grafting when volume and surface both need attention within the same plan.

After treatment

Recovery and follow-up

You need to allow for a skin-healing phase, with redness and possible crusting. Duration depends on intensity, extent and your progress; redness may last longer than the initial healing phase. I will provide aftercare, sun-protection and follow-up instructions.

Realistic expectations

What we agree before treatment

It does not replace every surgical procedure or erase all scars. Nor is it suitable for every skin type at every time. Assessment allows the indication to be tailored or an alternative chosen.

Frequently asked questions

CO2 laser

What does “fractional” mean?

It treats small columns of skin, leaving untreated areas between them. This differs from treating the entire surface continuously. The mode is chosen according to the goal and area.

What anaesthesia is used?

It depends on intensity, extent and associated procedures. Local anaesthesia may be needed and, in many cases, sedation; the plan is agreed before treatment.

What risks should I know about?

Risks include pigmentation changes, infection, herpes reactivation, unfavourable scarring or prolonged redness. We review your history and the necessary aftercare before recommending treatment.

How much does it cost?

The initial consultation costs €150, in person or by video. A treatment quote is prepared after assessment, according to the agreed plan.
