Main area of focus

Combined facial rejuvenation in Valencia

The face does not age in just one layer. Skin changes, fat is lost and descends, supporting tissues loosen and bone is resorbed. That is why I combine laser, energy-based technology and minimally invasive surgery according to what I find in each layer, with a clear aim: to help you look better, without looking as though you have had surgery.

What changes with age

Four layers, four different concerns

Surface

Skin

Uneven texture, visible pores, wrinkles, pigmentation and loss of radiance caused by sun damage and time.

Beneath the skin

Fat

Fat compartments lose volume and descend. Under-eye hollows and folds become more pronounced, and the face looks flatter.

Support

Muscles and ligaments

The system supporting the tissues loosens. This becomes visible along the jawline, neck and eyelids.

Structure

Bone

Facial bone is resorbed over time, leaving less support for the tissues above it.

My approach

The right tool for each concern

Laser does not remove all excess skin, and surgery does not improve skin quality. When several concerns coexist, combining treatments is what gives a natural result.

Your concernCommon optionsLayer
Texture, visible pores, fine lines, dull skinFractional CO2 laser (UltraPulse Alpha, AcuPulse), non-ablative fractional laser (ResurFX at 1565 nm and Ceiván at 1470 and 1940 nm), fractional picosecond laser (LIOB effect), thulium laser, fractional radiofrequencySkin

Procedures

Laser and minimally invasive surgery

Fractional CO2 laser

Creates microscopic columns of controlled injury in the skin to stimulate regeneration with new collagen. It is a key technique for improving texture, fine lines and sun damage. I adjust the depth and density for each area of the face.

Anaesthesia
Anaesthetic cream; local anaesthesia for deeper treatments
Recovery
Redness and small crusts for five to fourteen days
Sessions
Usually one; two may be needed depending on the degree of damage and the selected treatment intensity
Best time of year
Can be performed all year round, with sun protection afterwards

Focused ultrasound and radiofrequency

Heat deeper layers without damaging the surface to stimulate contraction and collagen production. They are useful for mild to moderate laxity and alongside surgery. They do not replace a facelift when there is excess skin.

Anaesthesia
Usually none, or anaesthetic cream
Recovery
Normal activities the same day; mild redness may occur
Sessions
One to three, with maintenance depending on the case
Result
Gradual, over the following months

Hyaluronic acid and biostimulators

Hyaluronic acid restores volume and defines specific areas (cheekbones, under-eye hollows, folds and lips), with an immediate effect that can be reversed if needed. Collagen biostimulators do not act as fillers: they encourage your skin to produce more collagen, gradually improving firmness and quality. I use moderate amounts as part of a plan, rather than as a solution to everything.

Anaesthesia
Anaesthetic cream or local anaesthetic within the syringe
Recovery
Possible swelling or bruising for a few days
Result
Hyaluronic acid: immediate. Biostimulators: gradual, over weeks or months
Duration
Varies with the product and area; maintenance is needed

Blepharoplasty

Eyelid surgery removes excess skin and, if needed, repositions or removes fat pads. It can be performed on the upper eyelids, lower eyelids or both. Combining it with laser produces the best results for skin quality and scar healing. We perform laser-assisted surgery for more precise tissue control and with the aim of minimising bruising.

Anaesthesia
Local anaesthesia, with sedation when appropriate
Recovery
Swelling and bruising for one to two weeks
Stitches
Removed during the first week
Scar
Hidden in the eyelid crease or below the lashes

Facial fat grafting

I use your own fat in different preparations: macrofat and microfat to restore volume, and nanofat for selected skin-quality goals. Preparation depends on the area and purpose of treatment. Treatment is usually carried out over two or three sessions for an optimal result.

Anaesthesia
Local anaesthesia, with sedation when appropriate
Recovery
Swelling for one to two weeks
Donor area
Usually the abdomen or thighs
Result
Assessed after a few months, once it has stabilised

Targeted lifting and MACS lift

Surgery limited to the area that has sagged, rather than a full facelift. Less surgery, less recovery and a change proportionate to the concern.

  • Lateral brow lift: raises the outer part of the eyebrow and opens up the eye area.
  • Direct and indirect lip lift: changes upper-lip proportions and vermilion exposure. The direct and indirect approaches differ in their indication and scar position.
  • MACS lift: a short-scar facelift that lifts the middle and lower face and jawline.
Anaesthesia
Local anaesthesia, with sedation when appropriate
Recovery
One to two weeks, depending on the area
Indication
Localised sagging with good skin quality
Combination
In the same session as laser, fat grafting, blepharoplasty or double-chin treatment

Liposuction and endolaser for the double chin and jowls

Removes accumulated fat beneath the chin and along the jawline. As well as treating fat, endolaser helps tighten the skin. It defines the jawline and neck and combines well with a MACS lift or laser in the same session.

Anaesthesia
Local anaesthesia, with sedation when appropriate
Recovery
Swelling for several days, usually at least a week. A compression garment is not essential
Indication
Localised fat beneath the chin or along the jowls
Combination
In the same session as lifting, blepharoplasty or laser

Realistic expectations

What I will explain during your consultation

Laser cannot address everything

If there is excess eyelid skin or clear sagging, no device will resolve it. I will explain this even if you came specifically for laser treatment.

Not every concern needs surgery

Many faces improve considerably by treating the skin alone. Surgery when it is not needed does not give a better result.

You also influence the result

Sun protection, smoking and home skincare affect how long the results last.

Step by step

What the process involves

  1. Consultation and diagnosis

Examination, skin analysis and ultrasound if needed. €150, in person or by video consultation.

  2. A layer-by-layer plan

What to treat, in what order, the cost and the recovery to expect.

  3. Treatment

In a single session or in stages, with local anaesthesia and sedation at the clinic.

  4. Review

    Follow-up until the result stabilises.

Frequently asked questions

Facial rejuvenation

At what age should treatment start?

When it is needed: it depends on the changes in each layer, not your date of birth. Most patients who combine techniques are between 40 and 70; at younger ages, laser and skincare are often enough.

How long is recovery?

It depends on the technique. With focused ultrasound or non-ablative laser, you can resume normal activities in one or two days. Fractional CO2 laser usually requires five to fourteen days. With blepharoplasty and fat grafting, swelling takes one to two weeks to settle.

Can laser and surgery be combined in the same session?

To achieve an optimal result and maximise improvement through complementary effects, combining techniques with laser in the same session is ideal: for example, blepharoplasty, targeted lifting, fat grafting, liposuction or endolaser for the double chin, and CO2 laser. This also brings recovery into a single period. We plan it according to your diagnosis.

Does it hurt?

Treatments are performed under local anaesthesia, sometimes with added anaesthetic cream, or with anaesthetic cream alone. Most are also carried out under sedation with an anaesthetist present to ensure you feel no discomfort. Afterwards, mild discomfort may occur and can be managed with standard painkillers.

How long do results last?

These are the longest-lasting treatments. Although ageing continues, laser treatment gives you a substantially greater collagen reserve to build on. Surgery also maintains its effect for years. We provide gentle maintenance with laser and topical creams over time. Sun protection and a healthy lifestyle also help maintain the results.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the techniques you need. The initial consultation costs €150, and you leave with a treatment plan and a quote.
