Your own fat, different purposes

Facial fat grafting in Valencia

I use your own fat in different preparations, from macrofat to nanofat. They do not all serve the same purpose: preparation and placement depend on the volume that is missing and the tissues we want to address.

Assessment and treatment

Preparation changes its role

I harvest fat from a donor area and prepare it for its intended use. A plan may combine different preparations rather than treating the whole face in the same way.

01

Macrofat

Larger fat parcels intended to add volume where anatomy allows. The choice of area and tissue plane is part of planning.

02

Microfat

Smaller grafts for more precise volume distribution. I tailor them to the contours needing restoration and the characteristics of each tissue.

03

Nanofat

A processed preparation for skin-quality goals. I do not present it as a volume filler or a guarantee of regeneration: its indication and expected effect are discussed separately.

After treatment

Recovery and follow-up

Recovery involves both the face and the donor area. Swelling, bruising and temporary volume differences may occur. Some fat is reabsorbed, so the result is assessed once it stabilises and a further procedure may be needed.

Realistic expectations

What we agree before treatment

I do not promise that all grafted fat will survive or that the result is final from day one. Your own fat still requires a precise indication and carries risks; adding volume does not address every facial change.

Frequently asked questions

Facial fat grafting

Are microfat and nanofat the same?

No. Their processing and purposes differ. Microfat is used to add volume; nanofat is considered for skin-quality goals, with specific expectations.

Can it be combined with CO2 or blepharoplasty?

Yes, it can be part of combined treatment when appropriate for you. The plan distinguishes what we aim to improve with fat, surgery and laser.

What risks should I know about?

Risks include asymmetry, irregularities, nodules, infection or the need for another procedure. Vascular complications are uncommon but potentially serious, including visual complications. Risks and alternatives are discussed beforehand.

How much does it cost?

The initial consultation costs €150, in person or by video. A treatment quote is prepared after assessment, according to the agreed plan.
